Welcome to our sanctuary of relaxation and rejuvenation. To ensure a safe, supportive, and tranquil environment for all guests, we kindly ask you to review and follow our guidelines and policies below.
COLD PLUNGE GUIDELINES
1. Use Appropriate Attire – Swimwear is required for cold plunge use.
2. Rinse Before Entering – Before each plunge, take a quick shower without soap to maintain water cleanliness.
3. Limit Your Time – Recommended time is 1-3 minutes per session. Listen to your body.
4. Enter Slowly – Ease into the cold plunge to adjust gradually to the temperature.
5. One Person at a Time – The cold plunge is limited to single-user sessions.
6. Keep Noise to a Minimum – Maintain a serene environment for everyone.
7. No Electronics – Keep phones and devices away from the water.
8. Health First – Avoid use if you have heart conditions, high blood pressure, or other medical concerns.
9. Dry Off Before Leaving – Use provided towels to prevent slippery floors.
10. Follow Time Limits – Be mindful of others waiting to use the cold plunge.
Who Should NOT Cold Plunge?
It’s always a good idea to talk to your doctor before you try a cold plunge. If you have any of these medical conditions, cold plunges may not be safe for you:
- Known heart conditions
- Diabetes
- High blood pressure
- Poor blood flow
- Pregnant
- Raynaud’s Phenomenon – a condition that affects blood flow in your fingers
- Peripheral Neuropathy (nerve pain)
- Venous Stasis – affects blood flow to your legs
- Cold Agglutinin Disease – damages red blood cells
SAUNA GUIDELINES
- Wear Appropriate Attire – Swimwear is required with the exception of full room rentals.
- Shower Before Entering – Keep the sauna clean by rinsing off after your workout.
- Use a Towel – Please limit your borrowed towel use to 2 per session. Sit or lie on a towel to maintain hygiene.
- Keep Conversations Low – Respect the peaceful atmosphere.
- Avoid Grooming – No shaving, hair brushing, or grooming activities in the sauna.
- Be Mindful with Water – Use water on rocks sparingly and only if permitted.
- Limit Your Time – Stay no longer than 15-20 minutes per session.
- Close the Door Quickly – Help preserve the sauna’s heat.
- No Electronics – Leave phones and devices outside the sauna.
- Health First – Exit immediately if you feel unwell or dizzy.
Who Should NOT Sauna?
Certain medical conditions can make sauna use unsafe or require caution. Here’s a list of conditions where sauna use may be restricted or should be discussed with a doctor first:
- Uncontrolled high blood pressure (hypertension)
- Heart disease (e.g., coronary artery disease, arrhythmias)
- Recent heart attack (myocardial infarction)
- Multiple sclerosis (MS) (heat intolerance can worsen symptoms)
- Epilepsy (heat may trigger seizures)
- Stroke history (may increase risk of dizziness or fainting)
- Asthma (especially if heat triggers attacks)
- Severe eczema or psoriasis (heat can worsen symptoms)
- Open wounds, burns, or infections
- Pregnancy
- Post-surgical recovery (heat can affect healing and swelling)
- Those taking diuretics or medications affecting hydration
- Chemotherapy or radiation therapy (heat may worsen side effects)
General Policies
Arrival: Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your session to allow time for check-in and preparation. Late arrivals may reduce your session time to ensure fairness to other guests.
Late Policy: If you arrive late, your session will end at the scheduled time to accommodate the next guest. We cannot extend sessions for late arrivals.
Cancellation: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee. No-shows or same-day cancellations will incur the full session fee.
Phones and Devices: To preserve the serene environment, please silence your phone and refrain from using electronic devices in the sauna and cold plunge areas.
Dress Code: Swimwear or lightweight athletic wear is required in the sauna and cold plunge areas.
Community Conduct
- Respect the shared space by speaking softly and maintaining a peaceful atmosphere.
- Harassment, inappropriate behaviour, or disruptive actions will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the premises.
