Meet Andrea Young
Hi! I’m Andrea. After fighting for survival my whole life, I’m now taking my fight into the ring. I want to inspire people; show that it doesn’t matter when you start; if you work hard, anything is possible. I want athletes to believe in themselves and find the strength and power they have within. I aim to set the example of being open to opportunities and going after your dreams.
After being a dedicated soccer player since the age of 8 and having accomplished many dreams, I took some time off to rest, but I still had a burning fire inside me to compete. I knew my days of being an athlete weren’t over and so I chose a new challenge; boxing! At first I picked it up for fun but quickly became aware of the potential this sport offered. Though I kept my ambitions quiet while I trained, my goal was already set. I wanted to make it to the Olympics. That’s an ambitious goal for someone just picking up gloves for the first time, but if you don’t dream it, you likely won’t achieve it, so, I set the bar high. January of 2025 marked my first fights at the Brampton Cup where I took home gold. Shortly after in March, I added another win at Kingsway Boxing Club’s Fight Night. I’m on a campaign to make the Ontario Provincial team in October of 2025 so that means lots of fights to line up this year!

Why Your Support Matters
Boxing may be a solo sport in the ring—but no one gets there alone. This journey will take time, energy, finances, and a whole army around me, but I know the hard work will be worth it. I’ve proved, with my soccer career, that work ethic and ability to perform are qualities I have in spades. I bring those, plus my high level athletic experience, with me as I take on boxing. The challenge lies in the financial burden of surviving while training to be the best athlete to represent our province and country.
As I embark on this journey, your sponsorship will directly support the essentials that keep me sharp and fight-ready:
- Training camp and competition fees
- Equipment (gloves, wraps, headgear, shoes, etc.)
- Travel and lodging for tournaments
- Nutrition and recovery resources

What You, The Sponsor, Receive
In return, I’ll represent your brand with pride—in and out of the ring. You’ll get authentic exposure through my journey, and a front-row seat to a fighter’s grind.
Sponsors receive:
- Logo placement on gear (competition shirts, shorts, gym wear)
- Mentions in social media posts and stories
- Tagging and linking your brand in fight recaps
- Visibility at local and regional fight nights
- Content collaborations (training footage, shout outs, etc.)

In contrast, Team KBC sponsorships support all athletes collectively—helping to cover team travel, additional coaching, licensing, and other competition-related expenses.

Why Partner With Me?
I am more than an athlete. I am a pillar in many communities and have a reach across multiple cities and countries. I dedicate time consistently to giving back to the community, mentoring and inspiring our youth. I take every opportunity to uplift others and share my story so no one feels like they’re alone or can’t conquer life’s challenges. In the ring I may be a “badass”, but outside, I am a warm, welcoming soul! I carry myself with dignity and I represent and promote the brands backing me.
