Log your Training

Boxing is an extremely independent sport, you do not want to rely on your opponent to push you. For example, getting punched in the face more doesn’t teach you to defend better, perfecting the technique independently and then executing it during sparring will improve your skills. Training on your own is important to physical and mental conditioning for a boxer.

How To Wrap

Use this handout to help learn the correct way to wrap your hands for boxing. If done correctly, wrapping your hands is beneficial to helping protect against the repetitive impact endured in boxing. An incorrect wrap can lead to disqualification from your fight, or even worse, an injury sustained to the hand or wrist.

15 Round Boxing Workout

Use this handout to help you train independently during Open Training Hours at the gym  (be sure to check Schedules and Cancelations). For beginners, set rounds at 2 min with 30 sec. breaks – advanced boxers, set rounds at 3 min with 1 min breaks.

KBC Registration Forms

Guest Waiver/Registration

All guests visiting Kingsway Boxing for the first time must fully complete this form.


New Massage Therapy Client

All new massage therapy clients must fill out this form before receiving any RMT treatment.

Boxing Ontario Forms

Boxing Medical

Print the Boxing Ontario Medical form and bring to a licensed physician. If you need us to recommend a doctor please speak to a coach on your next visit.

Important Note:

  • Medicals dated 3 months or over will not be accepted.
  • Medicals are still valid for 1 calendar year (from the date of the medical) but must be 3 months or less at the time your annual registration is submitted.
  • For example, a medical completed January 1st 2019 would not be accepted in April, as it’s over 3 months.

Boxing Ontario Forms


Adult Membership

Complete the Adult Membership form if you are between the ages of 19 and 39 (within the year). Submit signed form in combination with completed Medical Form (above) on your next visit to sparring class.

Youth/Junior Licence

Complete the Youth/Junior Membership form if you are between the ages of 11 and 18  (within the year). Submit signed form in combination with completed Medical Form (above) on your next visit to sparring class. Include scanned printout of your birth certificate or heath card for proof of age.

Initiation Boxer – Ages 8 – 10

Complete the Initiation Boxer Form for children ages 8 – 10 years old. Submit signed form in combination with completed Medical Form (above) on your next visit to sparring class. Include scanned printout of your birth certificate or heath card for proof of age.
