Our Energy Exchange Membership program fosters mutual support between Co-Op Members and Kingsway Boxing Club, creating a strong, collaborative community while enhancing personal and professional growth.
Position Title: Energy Exchange Member
Term: 3 to 6 Months (Renewable Based on Contribution and Club Needs)
Overview:
The Energy Exchange Membership program offers individuals an opportunity to become integral members of the Kingsway Boxing Club community. In exchange for their contributions to the club in various capacities, Co-Op Members gain access to exclusive membership benefits, including training sessions, gym facilities, and other offerings.

Responsibilities:
Energy Exchange Members will support the Kingsway Boxing Club in one or more of the following areas:
- Facility Maintenance:
- Helping maintain cleanliness and organization within the gym space.
- Assisting with equipment checks and minor repairs as needed.
- Marketing and Promotions:
- Supporting social media and marketing campaigns to promote events and programs.
- Creating content, such as photos, videos, and written posts, to engage the community.
- Coaching Classes:
- Assist or lead boxing and fitness classes based on your skill level and expertise.
- Ensure a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for participants of all ages and abilities.
- Program Assistance:
- Assisting coaches during classes or workshops, including setting up equipment and demonstrating exercises as directed.
- Acting as a point of contact for members and new participants, ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Administrative Support:
- Managing member inquiries and registrations.
- Supporting data entry and other organizational tasks.
Eligibility:
- Must be passionate about fitness, boxing, or community-building.
- Reliable, with strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Coaches and trainers offering classes must hold an active Boxing Ontario or Personal Training Licence in Canada.
- Available to commit to the agreed-upon term (3 to 6 months).
Time Commitment:
Co-Op Members are expected to contribute 4-8 hours per week, depending on their role and the agreed-upon membership benefits.
Application Process:
Interested individuals can apply by submitting a brief statement of interest, including their preferred areas of contribution and availability. Selected candidates will participate in an informal interview to assess fit and finalize terms.
