Q: Does your gym offer competitive boxing, or are your programs just for fitness?

A: Kingsway Boxing Club offers both recreational and competitive boxing programs. We have a fully equipped competitive boxing facility with an Olympic boxing ring. We also have a completely separate facility strictly used for fitness geared programs.

Q: What is the difference between the “Open Class” and the “Club Class”?

A: The main difference between the two classes is location:

“Open Classes” are run at the Studio 2 (3005 Bloor St. W.)

“Club Classes” are run at the Boxing Club (22-B Jutland Rd.)

Q: I am not ready to sign up for anything yet, can I just come and see the gym?

A: We have 2 locations that you can come visit:

The Fitness Studio (3005 Bloor St. W)

You can stop by during scheduled classes. Please note that coaches will be occupied teaching their students during the class times

The Boxing Gym (22-B Jutland Rd.)

We have an “info session” every Saturday from 10am – 12pm. You do not need an appointment for this time slot. Alternatively you can stop by anytime during our “Open Training hours” to see our facilities.

Q: How much are your monthly fees?

A: Our basic membership is just $65 per month. This gives you unlimited access to the gym during “Open Training” hours, and your choice of one “Open or Club Class” weekly. We also offer more advanced memberships that give you access to 2, 3 or unlimited classes weekly.

Q: I would like to use the facilities, but I don’t want to take classes. What are your membership fees for access only?

A: If you would only like to use the facilities and don’t need classes, you would join on a basic membership.  With this membership you would have unlimited access to the gym during open training hours, and you would have access to the sparring classes.
